Tell us about your group:
Loveland Cycling Clubis an organization that desires to “Build Community Through Cycling.” We are a fairly new organization born out of a desire to have a cycling community in Loveland that is involved in the community of Loveland. We desire to be an avenue for people of all ages and abilities to get involved. We currently have approximately 40 members and several group rides.
How long has the club been around?
We started in November 2017.
What is your favorite way to get out and enjoy our town?
Loveland has so many options when it comes to riding a bike. We have miles of great bike trails, which can take you all the way to Fort Collins if you wish. We also have hundreds of miles of beautiful county roads all around us with some of the most sought-after views in the world. The beautiful thing about riding your bike, especially with a group, is that you get to explore and experience our great city and area first hand.
What is one word that you would use to describe Loveland?
What is something that is missing from our community that you would love to see implemented?
A city-wide music festival would be fun.
Our mission is to celebrate, engage and unify Loveland. Can you share something you did recently to celebrate, engage or unify our town?
We participated in Night on the Town by having a booth and inviting people to connect with our club.
What does your ideal Loveland weekend look like?
A nice long bike ride, groups of our members getting together on their own and riding, being involved in things like Night on the Town, Bike to Work, etc.
