After college at UNC, I took a job in New Jersey. After falling in love with my best friend who was back in Loveland, I made the choice to leave Jersey and move back to Colorado. We had a lot of choices of where to live, but we chose Loveland. Almost 15 years later, we couldn’t be happier with our choice. Loveland is a community full of choices — we’ve chosen an amazing school where our kids are learning in both English and Spanish, we have the choice of so many fun festivals, events and activities for our family, and we can choose from a multitude of wonderful restaurants (although we usually end up at El Cielo).
No matter the choices we’ve made, we are always overwhelmed by the amount of love in this community. There are always people willing to go the extra mile to do the right thing, put a smile on your face, and make you feel a sense of belonging. When we moved here, my dad gave us a framed piece of sheet music for “I’d Love to Live in Loveland with a Girl Like You.” We proudly display it in our home because we can’t imagine choosing another place to be. #ChooseLove #LiveLoveland
